When choosing a school assessment system, you need to know what your curriculum is and what you want it to become. Your assessment framework is something that should support this, not replace it.
The government said that the P levels will not be used to report attainment to the DfE for students engaged in subject-specific learning from September 2018. For students not yet engaged in subject specific learning P levels will be removed from September 2019. 6 months on and we are still waiting for this intention to turn into statutory guidance.
