Sensory Curriculum linked to B Squared’s Frameworks

Jordan from Sensory Classroom introduces her Sensory Curriculum and explains how it can be used alongside Connecting Steps to assess learner progress, and Evisense to capture evidence and share achievements with parents.

The Sensory Curriculum was designed specifically for learners with sensory needs, including those with PMLD, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or LD, who are working between a neurotypical academic age of 0–6 years. It can also be adapted for learners up to Year 6.

Our MD, Dale Pickles explores with Jordan how the curriculum works in a busy SEN environment and how it integrates with B Squared. This fully detailed 4 year rotating curriculum:

  • Follows the National Curriculum.
  • Links to B Squared’s Engagement Steps / Progression Steps learning objectives.
  • Includes 12 topics spanning three differentiated groups, weekly timetable example, long and short-term planning, and printable resources.
  • Provides everything needed to support learners working at early developmental stages, helping to fill the gap for those with complex needs.

”B Squared’s Connecting Steps and Evisense alongside our Sensory Curriculum is everything we need in order to prove the IEPs have been assessed, EHCPs have been met, and that the curriculum has been met.”
